The Laser Girls 3D Printed Press On Nails

New York City based digital artists Sarah C. Awad and Dhemerae Ford have set up a brand together called the Laser Girls to show off their original ideas for 3D printed jewellery and unique nail art.

With the help of CAD/CAM and a combination of jewellery and manicure know-how, they design innovative 3D printed press on nails from a range of materials including nylon and brass.

It seems their fun and flambuoyant designs have been stirring up quite a bit of excitement in the US, being given a feature on the Shapeways.com blog talking about their placement as this week’s designers in residence at the Museum of Art and Design in New York, and gathering quite a following on Instagram.
