Leap Motion – Microsoft Kinect-Style Motion Tracking Technology Comes to the PC Screen

15 January, 2013

Watching this new motion tracking system in action is a joy.

I’ve also heard from a source that ASUS is planning on installing these into their PCs.

Considering the excitement with which this has been greeted by the CAD community, I reckon it’s only a matter of time before software developers start experimenting and refining this (or something similar) for use in design software.

You can read more about the system (and pre-order one as well) from the Leap Motion website.
