It seems quite a few businesses are putting investment money into 3D printing to speed up development of the next generation (Jeff Bezos just threw $10 million at Makerbot). But not only savvy businesses are in on the action, we’re seeing governments now looking to award grants!

According to the Startups.co.uk website, Vince Cable announced last week that he wants to provide funding for 3D printing projects in a variety of industries.

Looking to bring your own business ideas to fruition in the realm of jewellery CAD backed by 3D printing, perhaps this is your chance to get funding to pay for it!
