To celebrate the launch of Jack’s CAD book (get your free ticket here if you haven’t already), Advanced Jewellery CAD Techniques in Rhino, Jack has set up a special challenge event called “Jack’s Rhino CAD Challenge”. #JacksRhinoCADChallenge
Jack’s Rhino CAD Challenge
Anyone who attends the book launch event on 2nd September has the option to bring their hardest CAD challenges for Rhino 3D. The individual or individuals who present the best challenge of the night (or a problem Jack cannot solve) will win a free copy of his new book “Advanced Jewellery CAD Techniques in Rhino” (now available on Amazon!)
- Have you discovered something you cannot do in Rhino?
- Do you think nobody can solve your problem?
- Do you just want to take a shot at stumping someone who’s taught Rhino for jewellery since 2006?
Come join the Challenge today!
The rules for the challenge are as follows
All those who wish to participate in the challenge will need to purchase a free add-on ticket on Eventbrite to notify us that they will be participating in the challenge. The tickets to the event and the challenge are all free of charge.
Upon arriving, the challenger will add their name onto the list of people participating in the challenge on a first come first serve basis. They can present the challenge in any format, although images and/or even CAD files (delivered by USB or email) are preferable.
When the challenger’s turn to speak with Jack comes up, you will have an opportunity to pose the problem. Whether it can be solved or not, you will be entered in for the chance to win the free copy of his book, although problems that cannot be solved will be weighted more heavily.
Any of the following would disqualify the challenge from being usable for the contest:
- If the challenge is based upon another piece of software besides Rhino 3D without plug-ins.
- If the challenge cannot be explained in a way which Jack can understand.
Contact me directly if you have any questions.
