Do you know how to make jewellery, but would like help with marketing and building a jewellery brand identity?
Through a series of one-to-one masterclass sessions, I will help you build a jewellery brand and collection. I will guide you through all the stages of commercial design, including design development, market research, brand building, and setting up a production pipeline.
By the time we finish, you will have created two things: one collection perfectly tailored to your target market, and a brand with matching visual identity that is well-suited to support the promotion and sale of that collection.
Topics covered will include:
- Examining your current skillset
- Learning fundamental concepts of marketing and brand identity
- Understanding brand experience, customer expectation, and the various levels of the jewellery market
- Understanding demographics, target markets, and ideal clients
- Examining the market to see where you fit in
- Building a brand personality and matching brand identity.
- Calculating pricing and price points
- Building a collection for a customer using the design development process
- Ensuring your collection matches your brand identity, price point, and target market
- Establishing and implementing your supply chain.
- Fundamentals of project management and tracking
Requirements
Before taking this masterclass, you should already know the following:
- How to make jewellery using any one CAD software, having completed at least one of the beginners’ classes.
- Be familiar with the jewellery manufacturing process
- Have at least some knowledge of hand drawing
Course length
The Build a Jewellery Brand and Collection masterclass will take place over 4x online zoom sessions, which will be supported by a course workbook of additional exercises for you to do at home.
